The best part of a road trip is the drive back home. It is a time of silent retrospection; of quiet reflection. The body is tired and the legs aching. And yet, a blissful happiness and peace engulfs.
The setting sun in the horizon adds to this bittersweet moment, when the thin line between peace and melancholy begins to blur. The world outside transforms. And what a beautiful transformation it is.
But what makes this journey all the more charming is the fact that I’m coming back home; to the familiar, to the comfortable. To you.
