I saw them fall.
Pretty little things sparkling in the car light, dancing in the wind.
Bright bubbly dainty transparent little rain drops.
As they fell from the heavens, I saw them burst into peals of laughter.
Such cheerful beings.
They hurled themselves towards all things terrestrial, livening everything that they fell on.
They made pretty patterns on my windshield.
They gurgled and giggled.
And slid down the slope like little children at play.
I watched them.
And as quietly and surely as they fell from the skies, I too fell.
