A day in the life of a Copy Writer.

It’s really not a joy to sit at the desk and stare at the computer at a stretch for 9 hrs while writing copy for 31 electronic direct mailers. Make that 34. It is, in actuality, a pain in all the wrong places imaginable. But, on the other hand, there is a lot of joy in working for your own satisfaction. There is a lot of joy in overcoming challenges that you set for yourself. It is like the sweet taste of victory, after a toilsome war.

Nothing compares to the satisfaction of having given your best shot at every @@##$$% piece of work that comes your way. After that’s done, no matter what comments follow, everything becomes secondary. What really matters is whether you have delivered and helped your team move a notch up in the achievements’ ladder.

That feeling, yes that very feeling, is what I cherish the most.

I love my job!!!

  1. so true! the best part is, unknowingly, we tend to find solace in things we are asked to do. we end up thinking, oh, thank you god, i always wanted to do that!
