The Monologue.

Break free

From all that was.

Move on.

The road leads ahead not backwards.

Alone you must face

All that this world has to offer.

Friends, soul sisters, confidantes

All are fractions of your imagination.

It is your battle.

You must fight it on your own.

Derive your strength from your roots

So you can branch out

Change

Mingle

Dare…

Let them not strangle you.

Let them only balance you.

Make your own rules

But let them be derived from the roots.

Make your own boundaries

But let them stem from what has been instilled

And willingly taken.

Think.

Feel.

Express.

Speak out

Let them laugh, criticize.

Let them click their tongues and say,

“She’s gone all wrong.”

The time is ripe.

Take flight.

Let go of inhibitions

Rules

Orthodoxies

Hypocrisies…

Let the real you emerge.
