On the eve of my 25th birthday

Nothing has happened as planned. Yet, things are good as they are. And yet, I oscillate between ecstatic fervour and mind numbing cold. I am a pendulum, resigned to my fate, of neither being here nor there; always hanging – in between – never belonging.

It’s my 25^th birthday tomorrow.
